Cassava agribusiness for the women of Kasangadzi

Cassava grows reliably in Kasangadzi, but most of the harvest is consumed at subsistence level or sold raw at low prices. The project trains 150 vulnerable women in agribusiness, marketing and value-addition techniques (flour, chips, starch). We build a warehouse, sink a borehole for processing water and buy the machinery the cooperative needs to push prices upstream.

A €50 donation funds a year of water for a family — and, thanks to the model, contributes to the next well too.
